Andreas Pereira is 21 years old and a Brazilian international who plays for Manchester United but is currently on loan at Granada CF.
Man United sign him from PSV in January 2012 and immediately joined the under 18’s where he was able to show his talent straight away.
Pereira has made 9 appearances for United with the majority coming on from the bench, with his only goal coming in his first start against Ipswich from a superb free kick.
At the start of this summer Jose arrived at Manchester United and he gave him the opportunities in the pre-season where he impressed but Jose wanted him to have more game time than was at offer at United.
So in August United decided to send Pereira on loan at Granada where he has so far put in very positive performances. In his 29 appearances for Granada he has scored 4 times and assisted 3 goals which is not bad for a team that has been in the relegation zone all season.
He plays in an attacking role for Granada which gives him the freedom to get in behind and use his skill.
During the season Mourinho and his assistant Rui Faria have been keeping in contact with him and showing that they are pleased with his performances.
Many Man Utd fans are hoping next year he will be given his chance in the first team and cement a first team place.
Next year could be a massive year for Pereira with new signings expected, world cup and maybe his last chance to wear the United shirt.
United have big expectations for Andreas Pereira and the question will be can he cope with the expectations.
