Manchester united boss, Jose Mourinho, is eyeing up a move to bring Michael Keane back to Old Trafford according to the Mirror.

Keane only departed United just over two years ago, but in that time, he has vastly improved as a player, and it looks to be a costly mistake from former Red Devils boss, Louis Van Gaal, in letting him go.

If United are to land Keane, they will have to beat off stiff competition from most of the other top seven sides, with Everton, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all believed to be chasing Keane’s signature.

Everton have been instilled as the bookies favourites to land Keane, and at this current moment, that looks to be his most likely destination.

It is believed that around £30 million will secure you the England international’s services, which certainly won’t put clubs off.

Keane had the opportunity to join the Premier League champions, Leicester City, in the summer, but bids of around £20m were knocked back by the Clarets, which has proved to be an invaluable decision as Keane has flourished at the heart of the Burnley defence.

Alongside, Ben Mee, Keane has established himself as one of the Premier League’s leading centre halves, and with just a year left on his deal at Burnley, it is unlikely that the Clarets will be able to keep hold of him in the summer.
